Coastal Plan review timeline,
On 4 October 2019, the Council publicly notified its decisions regarding submissions, further submissions and the Hearing Panel’s recommendations on the Proposed Coastal Plan for Taranaki.
Submitters then had 30 working days (until 18 November) to appeal decisions to the Environment Court.

Under section 274 of the Resource Management Act 1991 certain persons may be party to proceedings before the Environment Court and must give notice [to the Environment Court] 15 working days after the period for lodging a notice of appeal ends – 5pm, 10 December, 2019.

Coastal Plan review timeline
After public notice of the Council’s decisions on 5 October 2019, submitters have the right to appeal the Council’s decisions to the Environment Court within 30 working days of the public notice.
